• Understanding My Child's Behavior

  This was developed for Parent Councils who wanted a program that would help them become more self-aware and understand basic differences in their children's temperaments. Because as all parents know their offspring can be as different as night and day! This session emphasizes how parents can strengthen the family unit by learning how to communicate with their kids, as well as encourage their offspring's innate personality strengths.

• Creating A Wonderful Home Environment For Your Child's Temperament

  What worked for you as a parent when you were growing up may not work for your offspring. The four temperament types learn very differently and so require very specific environments in order to thrive. In this workshop Kate helps you explore ways you can create an area in the home for your offspring that will encourage learning and cooperation.

• Creating Dynamic Learning Environments For All Students

  Are you aware that some teachers create a classroom environment they personally enjoy? The problem with that is since not all the students in their classroom share the teacher’s temperament type, they may not feel particularly comfortable in that classroom. This workshop explores ways teachers can create an atmosphere that will appeal to each and every student in their classroom. By understanding and appreciating the different temperaments teachers can apply it to the learning environment.

  Did you know that many teachers tell us that they instruct and assess students the way in which they would like to be instructed and assessed? This workshop encourages teachers to use their knowledge of personal effectiveness to design instruction and assessments in ways that will appeal to a broad spectrum of learners.
